Quals are over and passed (pending some proposal rewriting and me promising to take a thermodynamics class in the near future). It's nice not having that stress hanging over my head - now I can relax and get some research done! (Not to mention getting back to blogging more often...)

Feel free to blog about your thermodynamics class and the understanding you gain from it. I've never had a class, and have been trying to learn it on my own, but it is occassionally challenging. Reading it from a variety of points of view helps, and I bet reading it from someone who is just learning it would help more...
